A lot of people are taken back when it comes to making bread. I’m not sure why…

I’m here to tell you that it doesn’t need to be intimidating. Usually, homemade breads only has a hand-full of ingredients and don’t require a lot of experience to make it. The only thing this recipe requires you, is patiences.

My go to bread is this Artisan Bread, it has a crispy crust and a soft, chewy inside. And it’s literally 4 ingredients that you can find right in your kitchen.

Disclaimer: This recipe requires 8-24 hours of rising time. (I make my dough the night before and bake in the morning.)

Let’s bake!

Here’s what you’ll need:

3 cups AP flour

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon yeast

1 1/2 cups warm water

Instructions:

  1. In a large size bowl, stir all 4 ingredients until combined. Cover with plastic wrap and rest at room temperature for 8-24 hours.

  2. Take the dough out of the bowl onto a well-floured surface or on parchment paper, and shape into a ball. Let the dough rest for 30 Minutes.

  3. As the dough is resting, place an oven safe baking dish (make sure your dish has a lid) with high sides into the oven and preheat for 450 degrees.

  4. With a knife slash a X on the top of the bread and carefully transfer to the baking dish. If you used parchment paper, you can simply pick it up from the edges of the paper and put the dough and paper into the baking dish.

  5. Cover the dish with your lid and bake for 30 Minutes. Then take the lid off and bake for around 15 minutes or until golden brown.

  6. Let the bread cool before slicing

  7. Enjoy!

Note: It’s best to eat within the same day.

DIY Body Oil for Smooth and Glowing Skin

This body oil has changed my skin. No, trust me it really has, I’ve tried so many lotions and creams and NOTHING has worked like this. A combination of these butters and oil has rehydrated and left my skin feeling so soft! Not only does it leave your skin soft and with a natural glow, but this body oil helps with scars, stretch marks, psoriasis and eczema.

My skin was so dry due to medication, to the point you could see the dead skin cells pealing off. Unfortunately, I don’t have picture to show you, but its was horrible. It looked like dandruff all over my body.

Here are some of the benefits of each ingredient:

Sweet Almond Oil: Contains Vitamin E and A, helps with stretch marks, can help treat psoriasis and eczema, and it’s safe for sensitive skin.

Shea Butter: Contains Vitamins A, E & F,  restores skin elasticity, helps heal minor cuts and burns, lightens scars, relieves joint pain

Cacao Butter: Contains Vitamins A, B1, B2, B3, C, E

This little mix has done so much for me, I couldn’t help but share.

Here’s what you’ll need:

1/4 cup Sweet almond oil

1 Tablespoon Shea butter

Cacao butter (just pick one small piece)

Instructions:

1. Put all ingredients into a microwave safe bowl and microwave for 30 seconds or until completely melted. Stir the melted ingredients.

2. Apply to damp skin after you shower and then proceed with your routine.

Note: This usually makes enough for 1 day as I use it all over my body. If you have extra just microwave the oils back up again to reuse.
